Now listen, I’ve got a bone to pick—and no, it ain’t leftover BBQ ribs from last weekend’s Sunday dinner (though Lord knows I’d fight for those, too).

See, some folks out there think Macon Me Wander is nothin’ but a pub crawl company. I know. Shocking, right?

I’m lookin’ at you, “Other Jeff.”

Poor “Other Jeff” was on my Trivia Trail the other day, and every time we landed somewhere that wasn’t a bar, he’d cross those arms, scrunch up that face like he’d bit into a green persimmon, and hiss,

“Wait…they don't serve alcohol?!”

Bless his heart.

Let me tell y’all somethin’ right now: Macon Me Wander is more than just bar hops and booze.

• We’ve got art crawls where you can gawk at pretty paintings and maybe pretend you know the difference between modern and abstract.

• We do dessert and coffee crawls—because sometimes a girl needs tiramisu and a triple espresso more than she needs tequila.

• We’ve got museum crawls for folks who like a little learnin’ with their wanderin’.

• And don’t even get me started on all the secret spots we love to show off.

So no, “Other Jeff,” it ain’t always about cocktails and craft beer—though Lord knows we love those, too.

I’m here to open your eyes, your taste buds, and maybe even your heart to all the fun Macon’s got hidin’ ‘round every corner.
